The 6th Annual Conference of the International Society for Academics in Research (ISfAR)

CALL FOR PAPERS

In its sixth year now, the International Society for Academic Researchers (ISFAR) will be held on July 23rd–25th, 2025, in Zanzibar Island, East Africa. This year’s conference will be hosted in collaboration with Community Action, Research and Development Tanzania (CARD-T) and The Zanzibar University (ZU). The conference will bring together academics from all over the world, and the conference attendants will experience the serene beauty and rejuvenation of the Zanzibar beaches. In this year’s conference, there will be panel discussions as well as workshops.

Submit your abstract (maximum 300 words) specifying the nature of your presentation, i.e., oral, poster, panel workshop, or Virtual. If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to register for the conference. There is an early bird discount on registration rate (see below).

Registration for the 6^th Annual Conference of the International Society for Academics in Research (ISfAR) is now open. Submit early to take advantage of the discounted registration fee.

To register, you should complete the online registration form and pay the registration fee. At least one author must be registered for each accepted paper to be included in the conference program. Registration is required for all participants attending the conference.

Conference fees

Early Bird (before 30 May 2024): $550

Up to 30 June 2024: $550

Students pay $350

Conference fees include lunch, the GALA dinner, and the book launch on the 23rd of July.

Full papers for Special Issue

Papers that will be presented at the ISfAR2025 Conference will be subjected to the normal triple-blind peer-reviewing process before being considered for publication in one of the following:

1. Jahazi: a journal of humanities and social sciences, -with ISSN: 2953-2620 (Print); ISSN: 2953-2639 (Online)

2. A special issue of an accredited journal (name to be confirmed)

If your paper is not selected for the above journals, there is a possibility that it can be considered for publication in the Book/book chapters.
